I personally use the Garmin 60CS and it has worked well for me. It is important to be able to download information to a PC mapping system and Garmin is generally only compatible with Garmin mapping software so be aware of this. Garmin is the leader in the Global Positioning System field and much of the literature and training mkaterials are slanted to garmin models ... this is often a good reason to use Garmin before other models.
